Meet our supporters: an overview of Resetting supporting partners

Considering RESETTING scope to support European small and medium enterprises (SMEs) belonging to the tourism industry and to engage relevant institutions in this area of interest, it becomes apparent how the consortium hugely benefits from the support of local entities involved in the tourism sector, both to legitimize its work and to better reach local SMEs.

Fourteen supporting partners came forward to aid the RESETTING project, and this article will provide a brief overview of each of them.

Albanian National Tourism Agency

The National Tourism Agency is an Albanian public entity based in Tirana, responsible for the implementation of marketing policies in the field of tourism, promoting Albanian tourism at the national and international level by cooperating with regional tourism offices, local government and other organizations operating in the field of tourism, and to promote investments in areas with focused on tourism development cooperating with other public institutions promoting investments in the country.

Turismo de Portugal

Turismo de Portugal is the Portuguese National Tourism Authority, working within the Portuguese Ministry of Economy and Digital Transition, and its responsible for tourism promotion, its development and sustainability, and to balance supply and demand.

The Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA)

ATTA is a global mission-driven organization representing the active, outdoors and adventure travel industry. ATTA’s mission is to inspire, connect and empower the global tourism ecosystem to deliver experiences that protect nature and culture, and create shared economic value.
Established in 1990, the Adventure Travel Trade Association serves a community of more than 32,000 trade industry professionals from over 100 countries. This community consists of professional members, news subscribers, and community members.

Archeopercorsi

Archeopercorsi is a cultural association that also deals with the tourism promotion of the Marche region thanks to guided tours, re-enactments and museum management.

Associazione Albergatori Riviera delle Palme

The hotelier association “Riviera delle Palme” is an association of over 60 hotels belonging in the area of San Benedetto del Tronto in the Italian region of Marche. It’s an entity in constant grow that has the aim of promoting the city as a tourist location, using all available means of communication.

Global Sustainable Tourism Council GSTC)

GSTC establishes and manages global standards for sustainable travel and tourism, known as the GSTC Criteria. There are two sets: Destination Criteria for public policy-makers and destination managers, and Industry Criteria for hotels and tour operators. These are the guiding principles and minimum requirements that any tourism business or destination should aspire to reach in order to protect and sustain the world’s natural and cultural resources, while ensuring tourism meets its potential as a tool for conservation and poverty alleviation.

Diputació de Tarragona

The Tarragona Provincial Council is an intermediate local administration, NUT 3 according to the European statistical nomenclature. The Province of Tarragona includes 184 municipalities with a total number of 804.664 inhabitants. The mission of the Diputació de Tarragona is to promote the common good of the people of the region, facilitate the efficient management of the local municipalities and contribute to the sustainable development of the territory.


LiveCom Alliance

The LiveCom Alliance is the independent European institute for live communication and unites national boards of associations, each representing local member agencies and companies in the live communication and event domain. Currently serving 12 national organizations in 12 pan-European countries, affecting 1.000 leading agencies and companies around the continent.

Inside Marche LIVE

The association was founded in 2015 as a trade and labor protection body. It represents a large proportion of the incoming operators in the Marche region, and its members strongly believe that cooperation between operators in the tourism sector is an essential priority, both for the protection of businesses and for the possibility to create new potential projects.

The association main task is to create a solid network between these tourism operators, coordinating them in such a way as to have an ever-increasing coverage of all tourism segments.

Confcommercio Pesaro Urbino – Marche Nord

The Confcommercio Pesaro Urbino – Marche Nord, is an association representing Tourism Enterprises, Services & Commerce Companies; It is the Association numerically speaking, more representative both in Marche Region and in Italy.

 Confcommercio Pesaro Urbino Marche Nord man activies concern tourism promotion in Italy and abroad, support for the innovative processes of SMEs and consulting for financing and marketing of SMEs.

Piceno 2.0 Tour Operator

Piceno 2.0 is an Italian tourism entity based in the south Marche region, focused on a blog experience and whose main goal is to promote and propose peculiar holiday experiences in their geographical area of expertise.

CTP – Confederação do Turismo de Portugal

The Confederação do Turismo de Portugal (Portuguese Tourism Confederation) is the tourism business associations governance body, that acquired legal personality in 1995 and that gathers all business associations of the tourism activity in Portugal. As such, is has a national scope and covers the federations, unions and associations of the tourism business sector.

Region of Crete

The Region of Crete administration, responsible for the Greek island public affairs management, expressed it’s full support for the RESETTING project, considering the benefits such project could bring to the island SMEs and start-ups involved in the tourism sector.
